PE Showcase - HEB Moves It!

Students from each grade-level with representation from all nineteen HEB ISD elementary schools convened on Pennington Field to show off their best dance moves and other physical education activities in front of a very large and enthusiastic crowd for the "HEB Moves It" PE Showcase of Excellence. Each grade level performed two pieces each, followed by a grand finale showcasing fifth and sixth graders performing in unison. PE teachers at each school worked with the students for several weeks prior to the event to coordinate the performances. Up to 25 students from each grade level at each school were permitted to participate. The night proved to be highly energetic and fun for all!

 

The event coincides with First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move Initiative, a comprehensive movement to reduce childhood obesity.
