Schools of Choice
Parents who live outside the HEB ISD district boundaries may apply for a transfer into Schools of Choice programs. The information in this section is a guide to use when thinking about transferring into the district. This information may change at any time, so please, contact HEB ISD directly in order to obtain the most current information.
Nonresidents: Elementary Interdistrict Transfers
Spanish Immersion
Residency status - Available to non-resident students after offering positions to resident students.
Tuition – $1,500 per year for students coming in from out of district, if space is available.
Admission application deadline – The admission window to submit an Application for Interdistrict Transfer is January through the end of February. Specific information may be obtained through the Office of Elementary Administration.
Academic prerequisites - Screening measures are in place for reading aptitude and teacher assessment of student's ability to focus.
Suzuki Strings
Residency status - Available to non-resident students after offering positions to resident students.
