Update - Due to weather, this event has been rescheduled to September 20, from its original date of September 13.

The LD Bell Orchestra Booster Club is hosting a car wash as a joint fundraiser with the LD Bell High School and Central Junior High School orchestras. The car wash is open to the public and will be from 9:30 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m., September 20, at the Albertson's on Airport Freeway in Bedford.

The club is accepting monetary donations for the car wash, and they will sell hot dogs and drinks. Albertson's is an LD Bell High School adopter and will provide a grill, hot dogs, buns, mustard, ketchup, water, ice, and sodas, to assist with the event.

This is the first year of the high school orchestra program. This year's sophomore members began as elementary Suzuki Strings students and then formed the Central Junior High orchestra.

Tara Truex, Davis McCowan, Jeri Shelby, Monica Luper, Cheryl and Brian Sharp, and Joe Roberts are organizing the event.
