U.S. News: HEB ISD High Schools Rank in Top 8% of Nation
HEB ISD high schools are among the top 8% of high schools nationwide, as ranked by U.S. News magazine. For this year's ranking, the magazine evaluated data from 21,776 high schools. Schools with state assessment results that compared favorably against institutions in their home state were eligible for the national ranking. Student success in Advanced Placement (AP) or International Baccalaureate (IB) programs determined placement within the national ranking.
Trinity High School ranked #1,470 (of 21,776) in the nation and #116 (of 1,842) in the state. L.D. Bell High School placed #1,531 in the nation and #137 in Texas. Both schools' achievement surpassed nearly 20,000 high schools to earn the magazine's silver medal award.
