Students in all grades recently participated in a Day of Drumming at River Trails Elementary. The event was sponsored by the school's PTA and the Fine Arts teachers. Drum circle facilitator, David Cox from Rhythm Path LLC, brought in Djembe's for each student to enjoy drumming and learning together. The students created complicated rhythms, learned about West African culture and song, and enjoyed the pounding vibrations throughout the school!
