Collaboration Established with School in Mussoorie, India

Earlier this year, a delegation from HEB ISD visited The Woodstock School in Mussoorie, India to formally sign an agreement to mark the establishment of the Student and Teacher Exchange Programme (STEP). They visited a number of schools, government offices, museums, parks, and more to learn about education and culture in India.

The five person delegation consisted of Mike Harris (Principal of Trinity High School), Bhavani Parpia (Coordinator of the International Business Initiative), Faye Beaulieu (School Board President), Steve Chapman (Deputy Superintendent of Educational Operations) and Jim Banister (Principal of LD Bell High School).

Woodstock Director of Admissions Kirsten Bradby Beavan said she was delighted the new link had been inaugurated, opening up many opportunities for staff and students at both institutions.

HEB ISD School Board President Faye Beaulieu said the partnership would give students a real boost as they seek to understand the growing economies of Asia.
