The great educator Carter Woodson said, "The true meaning of leadership is service," and the second graduating class of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD Leadership Academy is prepared to use what they learned to serve as ambassadors for the District. This second group, like the one before, attended months of evening meetings, read recommended books, took tours of HEB ISD, and attended a Saturday school board meeting to learn about school district operations. The Leadership Academy is a project of the Board of Trustees and is part of their Board goals.
