Harwood Junior High Counselors, Kathleen Grimes and Cynthia Drone were searching for a relevant way to approach advisory Public Service Points with their students and they thought of Harwood's Theatre department. Susan Bishara, the new HJH theater teacher, took the challenge on and was delighted with the talent, creativity, and professionalism displayed by all. A new PSA for each point with the first of these installments being anti-bullying. Ninth-grader, Averi Burk wrote the song and her sister Rylee Burk, Makayla Pomykal and Halley Gerlikovski wrote the script with fellow classmates acting the roles out in the video. The student body was very supportive and it initiated great dialog in the classroom on the topic of bullying and how each person is responsible for standing up and stopping bullying from happening.
