Wilshire students celebrated outstanding learning and citizenship with a first six weeks Character Awards assembly. Students were recognized for honor roll performance, perfect attendance, and outstanding citizenship. An underlying theme of "respect" was reiterated with student-read and written speeches selected by counselor Shannon Peterson.
