The Texas ACT Council has recognized LD Bell High School with a Texas 2012 College Readiness Award. The award is for significantly increasing ACT composite scores over the last five years, increasing or maintaining partnership in the ACT, and improving student college readiness. Only nine percent of Texas high schools were selected for this honor. This award demonstrates that LD Bell High School's faculty and staff provide the kind of education that makes a positive difference for all students in preparing them for college and the workforce.
