Ms. Holz's second grade class invited Hurst Hills Elementary principal Mr. Figueroa to read The Principal from The Black Lagoon. The students have been learning about literature discussion groups, where students take on roles including Discussion Director, Graphics Guide, Vocabulary Enricher, or The Connector. After practicing as a class, they will separate into novel discussion groups to dig even deeper into their literature studies.
