Trinity's Harmony Show Choir Performs for State Board of Education

On Friday, May 21, 2010, the Trinity High School Show Choir HARMONY performed before the State Board of Education in Austin. The choir was invited to perform by Pat Hardy, District 11 representative on the State Board. The formal invitation was presented by Mr. Tom Waggoner, Director of Fine Arts for the Texas Education Agency.

The HARMONY show choir performed a 15-minute set of non-stop Broadway show-tunes with all the choreography and wonderful vocals that is their tradition. The gallery was filled with board members, visitors and state dignitaries such as Robert Floyd, Executive Director of the Texas Music Educators Association. Mike Harris, Trinity High School Principal and Mark Chandler, HEB Director of Visual & Performing Arts and a few parents were there with the choir. The choirs performance was met with rousing applause and a standing ovation from the entire gallery. The choir was presented with a very nice certificate to commemorate their performance.

HARMONY is directed by Mr. Michael Dean and assisted by Mr. Jeremy Crozier.
