The HEB ISD Board of Trustees approved a starting teacher salary of $49,260 at their June 21 meeting. Most area districts are still finalizing budgets, but the Board was ready to move forward with the increase.

Teacher Pay Schedule
Starting salary for a teacher with zero years experience with a bachelor's degree = $49,260.

Other pay schedules
Administrative/professional employee group (including counselors) will receive 2 percent of the midpoint. All other employees will receive a straight 2 percent increase.
