Performed Heimlich Maneuver to Save Choking Student

Wow, how to begin describing one GREAT teacher. We had the wonderful opportunity for him to teach my older son last year in 5th grade, he was always very involved and made a lasting impression. This year he is teaching 4th grade for my younger son. I received a phone call from the nurse informing me that my son was choking during lunch and Mr. Furlow (had a knee injury so he has cane) dropped his cane and went into action to perform the Heimlich and that allowed my son to breath. Had it not been for the fast response from Mr. Furlow, who knows what would of happened. Just wanted to let everyone know what a WONDERFUL PERSON, TEACHER AND MENTOR he is!! Thanks again Mr. Furlow ----- You Rock!!
