HEB ISD Recognizes Anna Marceca!

5th Grade, Bedford Heights

Named to Hospital's Children's Advisory Board

Anna Marceca, a 5th grader at Bedford Heights, has been named to the Children's Advisory Board at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. Anna will participate in meetings with hospital advisers to give input from a child's perspective about different aspects of hospital care and services to children.

This month Board members met to discuss various food options at the hospital.
Questions on the agenda included "what kinds of foods would you like to see on the in-patient menu?"

We are excited that Anna has received such an honor from such a prestigious hospital and she has the opportunity to participate in such an important educational process!
