Donna Park Heritage Night Celebrates the School's Cultures
Posted 04/18/2017 04:44PM

On April 20, Donna Park Elementary hosted Heritage Night, celebrating the cultures that come together to make up the school's community. Families explored art activities and games, listened to folklore stories, sampled foods from other countries, and learned traditional dances. Many students, parents, and staff members wore traditional clothing or brought traditional foods to share. To prepare decorations for the event, the school sent letters to 200 embassies, who donated flags and posters representing 50 countries!
