Score A Goal in the Classroom school incentive program and Casa Manana have named Jamie Pringle the most Outstanding Drama Teacher in North Texas. She received the Bayard H. Friedman HUMMER Hero Award at the recent Betty Buckley theatre awards in Fort Worth. Pringle teaches at Trinity High School.

The Bayard H. Friedman HUMMER Hero Award has been established to honor outstanding school employees. Friedman, a renowned civic leader, was a strong proponent of challenging students and educators to continuously strive to raise the level of education and excellence of those in positions of serving our children and communities.

Since beginning her career in 1997, Pringle has been honored with several teaching and theatre awards. These include three Distinguished Teacher Awards, a Column Award, several UIL One Act Play achievements. In 2003, she and her students were honored with six Betty Buckley Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre.

Pringle possesses an extraordinary work ethic and an extremely strong commitment and devotion to all of the students in her classes. This Hero creates an environment in which every one of her students can succeed.

Pringle has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
