Two HEB ISD district adopters, the Chick-fil-A on Grapevine Highway in Hurst and the Chick-fil-A at the Heritage Towne Crossing shopping center in Euless, are accepting donations to help the HEB PTA Clothes Closet. The Clothes Closet is providing clothing to students from Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi who are enrolling in HEB ISD schools.

The two locations will accept donations through September 12. Hours of operation are 6:30am - 10pm. They are closed Sunday.

The Chick-fil-A stores will accept school supplies and the clothing items needed by the Clothes Closet. The Clothes Closet will provide free clothing to students displaced by hurricane Katrina.

The HEB PTA Clothes Closet is in immediate need of new or gently used boys and girls pants/jeans. They need sizes 4 - 20 for boys and sizes 4 - 16 for girls.

They also need new adult short, white, athletic socks. All sock donations must be brand new.

Both Chick-fil-A locations are in the HEB ISD Adopt-A-School program, which creates partnerships between the school district and local businesses, churches, and civic organizations.
