Summer 2022 Activities
More programs will be added as their information is made available. Contact the school or department hosting the program for more information. Note that some summer programs have limited space and/or signup deadlines.

For elementary & secondary students:
HEB Reads! Summer Reading Program (School Libraries) - open to ages 1-99! HEB ISD partners with the city libraries for a free summer reading program, including online activities and many opportunities to win prizes.
Sports Summer Camps (Athletics) - Develop your skills in sports like football, basketball, soccer, gymnastics, and more. Different camps have programs for different grade levels of students.
Invention Project (Advanced Academics) - Explore the business of innovation, from prototyping an invention to product launch. Advanced Academics/GT students entering grades 6-8 in fall can apply online.

Secondary Summer School (Curriculum Department) - These are the programs people usually think of as "summer school", including Credit Advancement & Credit Recovery.
Camp Connect (Career & Technical Education) - experience the Career and Technical Education programs available in HEB ISD high schools. For students entering 8th grade.
L.D. Bell Theatre Camp (Visual & Performing Arts) - explore choreography and music, perform, and learn how to develop your theatre resume. Paid camp for students entering 7th-12th grade.
