To support our students and their families, we have collected information about local food resources on this page. Please be aware that these resources are not all managed by HEB ISD, although some may be offered by our school district's community partners or adopters.

  • Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church of Bedford
    Hours or Date/Time: Tues 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
    Location: 2012 Shady Brook Dr, Bedford, TX 76021
    Eligibility / Details: Open to anyone in the service area, up to 1 time every 28 day(s). Drive-thru, no appointment needed.
     
  • New Hope Food Pantry (6 Stones)
    Hours or Date/Time: Tues 3:00-6:00 pm, Wed 9:00 am - 12:00 pm; Thurs Seniors (60+) ONLY 9:00 - 12:00; Sat 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

  • NEED East (North East Emergency Distribution)

    Eligibility / Details: Open to eligible households that live in the designated service area.
     
  • Mobile Food Pantry at First United Methodist Church Euless
    Hours or Date/Time: 3rd Tues 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

    Eligibility / Details: Must reside in designated service area, Up to 1 time every 1 month(s). Walk-ins accepted during service hours and complete a form.
     
  • I Can Still Shine
    Hours or Date/Time: Mon - Thurs 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm
    Location: Richland Hills, TX. Call for details and appointment: 817-616-3500 
    Eligibility / Details: Call for an appointment. Does not take walk-ins. Provides spousal abuse prevention, crime victim assistance, advocacy, and counseling for single, unmarried, women who have been abused and who are single moms with children.
     
  • Gurdwara Sikh Sangat

Meals during the School Day

During the school day, HEB ISD's Child Nutrition department offers breakfast and lunch for students in each school's cafeterias.

We encourage all families to fill out the application for free and reduced-price cafeteria meals. Even if you don't plan to use these meals, this data can help HEB ISD qualify for funding that supports your schools and students.

 

Summer Meal Program

Each summer, HEB ISD and other local organizations participate in the Summer Meal Program, funded by the USDA. Each location provides free meals for children age 18 and younger, with no ID or verification required. The list of locations and dates/times changes each year.
