We are excited to announce that the Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD Teacher Job Fair is open to applicants interested in becoming a teacher in HEB ISD for the 2025-2026 school year!
To be eligible for an invitation to the event, applicants must complete our Teacher Job Fair Interest Form and meet the State Board of Educator Certification requirements. After the completion of the Teacher Job Fair Interest Form, applicants will receive instructions to complete the formal Teacher Job Fair application in order to be considered for on-site interviews and be eligible for expedited hiring.
To be invited to the 2025-2026 Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD Teacher Job Fair, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be certified to teach in your area of interest;
- Be accepted in an alternative certification program; or
- Anticipate teacher certification by May 2025.
Applicants who meet the criteria will receive an invitation to attend the event. HEB ISD will extend a limited number of invitations to applicants for this event. All invitations will be sent out no later than March 28, 2025, to the email address provided in the Teacher Job Fair Interest Form. Once the Teacher Job Fair is filled to capacity, additional applicants will be placed on a waiting list in the event an invited applicant cancels.
The Teacher Job Fair will include time for applicants to mingle and visit with campus administrators. In addition, an area will be designated for formal interviews in the event an HEB ISD administrator is ready to conduct an interview. Formal interview invitations will be provided on the day of the Teacher Job Fair for highly qualified candidates.
*Job offers will not be extended to applicants during the Teacher Job Fair. However, should you receive a formal invitation from a campus administrator to interview for a vacant position at his or her campus, a principal may advise you that he or she is going to submit a Request to Hire to the Human Resources Department as early as March 31, 2025.
In addition to meeting and interviewing with campus administrators, department leaders will be available to answer questions related to special programs within HEB ISD.
Please note that this event is not open to the public, nor is it designed to meet the needs of those seeking a clerical, maintenance, paraprofessional, or administrative position within HEB ISD. Only applicants seeking teaching positions will be considered.

- Special Education Teacher Stipends: HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $1,500 for Instructional Resource, Content Mastery, Inclusion, Homebound, and Visually Impaired. Additionally, HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $2,500 for Blended PK, ECSE, FACI, PALS, VAC, MARC, PACES, BI, SABLE, and Behavior Specialists.
- Special Education Teacher Assistant Stipends: HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $1,500 for Instructional Resource, Content Mastery, and Inclusion. Additionally, HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $3,500 for Blended PK, ECSE, FACI, PALS, VAC, MARC, PACES, BI, SABLE, and Behavior Assistants.
- The HEB ISD Teacher Assistant to Teacher Program is an innovative way to transform teacher assistants into fully credentialed teachers through a partnership with an Alternative Certification Program. This program is specifically designed for current teacher assistants within HEB ISD who want to become teachers.
- The HEB ISD Educator in Training Program is for individuals who hold a Bachelor’s degree and are already working toward certification. These individuals will need to apply for their preferred teaching job posted on HEB ISD Careers. If the individual is recommended for hire, the Educator in Training (EiT) will be the teacher of record for his/her assigned teaching role and, therefore, is required to cover all classroom responsibilities of the teacher. The HEB ISD School Board has approved the hiring of full-time employees as Educators in Training at a salary of $42,500.00 with eligibility for HEB ISD health benefits, leave days, and TRS Retirement service credit.
- Benefits: The District contributes $300 per month to each employee’s health benefits package. HEB ISD truly focuses on the well-being of all employees and offers unique Fringe Benefits!
