HEB ISD June Teacher/Teacher Assistant Job Fair – Now Accepting Applicants!
Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD is excited to announce our June Teacher/Teacher Assistant Job Fair for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year! We welcome applicants who are interested in joining our team as a teacher or teacher assistant.
To be eligible for an invitation to the event, TEACHER applicants must:
- Be certified to teach in their area of interest
OR - Be accepted into an alternative certification program
To be eligible for an invitation to the event, TEACHER ASSISTANT applicants must:
- Have a high school diploma
OR - Have a GED
How to Participate:

- Watch your email for official instructions to submit the formal Teacher or Teacher Assistant Job Fair application.
- Submit your application to be considered for on-site interviews and expedited hiring.
Important Dates:
- The Job Fair date is Monday, June 9, 2025.
Teachers - 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Teacher Assistants - 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- All invitations will be sent via email no later than June 6, 2025.
- Please ensure the email address provided in your Interest Form is accurate and up to date.
What to Expect:
- Come and Go Format - Drop in when it works for you during the designated times
- Opportunities to meet and network with HEB ISD campus administrators
- Designated areas for on-site interviews with qualified candidates
- Potential for follow-up interviews for specific campus openings
(Note: Job Offers will not be extended at the fair.)

- Competitive Salary: for the 2024-2025 school year, HEB ISD teacher salaries start at $62,500.

- Bilingual Stipends: as of 2024-2025, HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $4,328 for certified bilingual teachers.
- Special Education Teacher Stipends: HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $1,500 for Instructional Resource, Content Mastery, Inclusion, Homebound, and Visually Impaired. Additionally, HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $2,500 for Blended PK, ECSE, FACI, PALS, VAC, MARC, PACES, BI, SABLE, and Behavior Specialists.
- Special Education Teacher Assistant Stipends: HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $1,500 for Instructional Resource, Content Mastery, and Inclusion. Additionally, HEB ISD offers a yearly stipend of $3,500 for Blended PK, ECSE, FACI, PALS, VAC, MARC, PACES, BI, SABLE, and Behavior Assistants.
- The HEB ISD Teacher Assistant to Teacher Program is an innovative way to transform teacher assistants into fully credentialed teachers through a partnership with an Alternative Certification Program. This program is specifically designed for current teacher assistants within HEB ISD who want to become teachers.
- The HEB ISD Educator in Training Program is for individuals who hold a Bachelor’s degree and are already working toward certification. These individuals will need to apply for their preferred teaching job posted on HEB ISD Careers. If the individual is recommended for hire, the Educator in Training (EiT) will be the teacher of record for his/her assigned teaching role and, therefore, is required to cover all classroom responsibilities of the teacher. The HEB ISD School Board has approved the hiring of full-time employees as Educators in Training at a salary of $42,500.00 with eligibility for HEB ISD health benefits, leave days, and TRS Retirement service credit.
- Benefits: The District contributes $300 per month to each employee’s health benefits package. HEB ISD truly focuses on the well-being of all employees and offers unique Fringe Benefits!
- Schools of Choice: HEB ISD offers a variety of educational opportunities including Spanish Immersion, Suzuki Strings, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), and International Baccalaureate as well as an International Business Initiative.
