HEB ISD Kindergarten Kick-Off 2024

Location: at every HEB ISD Elementary School

This opportunity is for you and your student to meet the staff, see the school, and get information to have the best possible Kindergarten experience.

Registration

All students in HEB ISD must register each year. Links and instructions for Kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 school year will be posted on this page on May 7, 2024.

Note: Transfer requests will be considered after all elementary registration events for 2024-2025 have been held. Kindergarten students who do not yet have an approved transfer should register at their home campus. If a transfer is granted, enrollment files will be moved to the new campus.

  Use these links for a NEW student who is not enrolled in an HEB ISD school at the end of the 2023-2024 school year. (For example, a student who does not attend prekindergarten, or who attends prekindergarten somewhere that is NOT an HEB ISD school.)

• Off to a Good Start! Ways Parents Can Help Children Get Ready to Begin School - this online brochure is available in English and Spanish. It's a quick read full of easy tips for parents that can make a big difference.
   
• Immunization Requirements for students - these requirements are are determined by the state legislature and set by the Texas Department of State Health Services, in conjunction with the Texas Education Agency. For convenience, we also provide the information on the HEB ISD website.
   
• HEB ISD Calendar - you can download a printable, PDF version of the school district calendar.
   
• Extended Day Academy (EDA) - this is a low-cost after-school program offered at every elementary school in HEB ISD. You must apply in advance -- visit the EDA website for more information.
