World Languages Department

HEB ISD's World Languages program includes courses in ASL (American Sign Language), Arabic, French, German, Mandarin Chinese, and Spanish. Arabic and Mandarin Chinese courses are part of HEB ISD's Schools of Choice offerings.

The World Languages Department will instruct students in becoming well-rounded, knowledgeable young adults who will learn not only to speak, sign, read, and write another language, but also to value the culture of that language.
