Clubs and Organizations

  • Junior high is a wonderful time for students. In order for students to have the best experience at Harwood, we strongly encourage all students to join at least one club, organization or team. It is important for students to be involved in a positive activity outside the regular school day. Below is a current list of the club offerings at Harwood.

Art Club - Milligan Art Club is for any student who would like to join Mrs. Milligan for an after school art making sessions. From individual projects to public collaborative works, this club will explore art as it affects our school and community.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Trejo FCA's mission is "to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church." Its vision is "to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes.” Meetings are every Tuesday in G107 from 8:00 a.m—8:15 a.m.

World Affairs Council – Boltz and Kepler Students are transformed from observers into informed international participants by gaining global competence skills through educational programs focused on diplomatic leadership, civic engagement, problem solving and cultural intelligence. Meetings are held every other Tuesday starting October 1st in A109.

MakerSpace Club – Baggs In the library at 7:45 a.m. on the days when Mrs. Baggs is on campus, MakerSpace is a fun environment where kids can build, create and explore. Look for the sign in the courtyard or check in the library to see if MakerSpace is happening and join us!
