Bedford Heights Elementary School was built as an open concept school in the northwest corner of HEB ISD in 1976. A strong foundation for learning and citizenship was established with the guidance of Bob Nash and Eva Orr.

Presently under the leadership of Brad Mengwasser, Bedford Heights serves 725 kindergarten through grade six students. The school mission statement A.C.H.I.E.V.E. (All Children Have Individualized Educationally Varied Experiences) represents the focus of the 60 caring, dedicated faculty and staff members.

The treasured tradition of our fun-filled community fall carnival is supported by our PTA, parent volunteers and businesses. One of our newest traditions is Bulldog Company, a fifth and sixth grade after-school choir. Our spring Field Day provides student events for family and friends to enjoy.

Bedford Heights Elementary proudly salutes our supportive PTA and community alliances. From volunteer crossing guards to workroom volunteers, from room parents to the support from our community adopters, many hearts and hands work together to provide positive and enriching experiences for our students.
