    Update (August 24, 2021):

At the meeting on August 23, the School Board did not authorize moving forward with the TVCO proposal. The TVCO program will not be offered at this time.

    Original Information (August 17, 2021):

Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD is considering a Temporary Virtual Classroom Option (TVCO) for HEB ISD students in kindergarten through 6th grade. If the current TVCO plan is approved by the HEB ISD Board of Trustees, the option would begin September 7 and continue through Friday, October 29 -- the end of the 2nd 6-weeks grading period.

Interested families must enroll online by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20.

When making your decision, please review the following information:

    • Students in TVCO would be required to remain in the program September 7 through October 29. (The virtual option would be evaluated at the end of the 2nd 6-weeks, but there are no guarantees that the program will be continued.)
    • TVCO would offer the core curriculum only.
    • No Schools of Choice options or electives would be offered. Students who choose TVCO would not be able to participate in any school activities and would be withdrawn from all Schools of Choice programs.

The Board plans to use this enrollment data to make a final decision regarding TVCO at their August 23rd Board meeting.

Interested families MUST enroll online by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20. Please note there will be no additional opportunities to enroll in the TVCO after this date. No exceptions will be made.

Parents & Guardians: To officially enroll your student in TVCO (pending board approval), please complete this online form no later than 4:00 p.m. on Friday, August 20:

    • The enrollment window for the TVCO program ended at 4:00pm on Friday, August 20, 2021. If additional opportunities become available, we will share that information with our HEB ISD community.
