How to Register

Register a Pre-kindergarten student
If your student qualifies for state-based pre-K OR is approved for Core Knowledge pre-K, you may now begin the registration process by completing this online form:
For information about Pre-K programs and registration requirements, visit the HEB ISD Prekindergarten website.
For Core Knowledge Pre-Kindergarten, you must apply online, and students will be selected through a lottery process:

Register an Elementary student (K-6th grade)

Parents of new students, please complete this online form to begin the registration process, then watch for follow-up emails with more information.

Register a Junior High student (7th-9th grade)
In HEB ISD, junior high is grades 7, 8, and 9.
If you aren't sure which school your home is zoned for, you can use the HEB ISD School Boundary Locator. There is additional information on our Maps / Attendance Zones website.
Registration instructions for each junior high:
- Bedford Junior High instructions

"Returning" vs. "New"
- "Returning students" are any students who were enrolled in any HEB ISD school on the last day of the 2019-2020 school year. (This includes incoming 7th graders who attended any HEB ISD elementary school.)
- "New students" are any students not enrolled in an HEB ISD school on the last day of the 2019-2020 school year.

Register a High School student (10th-12th grade)
In HEB ISD, high school is grades 10, 11, and 12.
If you aren't sure which school your home is zoned for, you can use the HEB ISD School Boundary Locator. There is additional information on our Maps / Attendance Zones website.
Registration instructions for each high school:
- L.D. Bell High School instructions
- Trinity High School instructions
- KEYS High School instructions (students must be referred to KEYS)

Register for Extended Day Academy (elementary only)

HEB ISD is open to all students who live within district boundaries and who meet state eligibility requirements. Parents should register at the neighborhood school serving their residential address.
