Weather Closings / Urgent News

Information about inclement weather cancellations and other urgent notifications is shared as we receive official notice from the Superintendent's office. Ways to receive this information include:

  • Like us on Facebook for immediate notifications of cancellations or delays!
  • Follow us on Twitter to receive a tweet.
  • School closure announcements will be sent to parents & guardians of HEB ISD students using the contact information they have on file with the district. Note: If parents & guardians have not provided accurate, current, functional contact information or have previously opted out from these messages, they may not receive the messages.

Sometimes local media outlets accidentally publish incorrect information. If you hear about a closure from a source other than HEB ISD, please confirm that information by checking the HEB ISD website or official HEB ISD social media accounts.
