Lockheed Martin Engineers visited North Euless Elementary 5th graders during Engineers Week. The visiting experts led students in a challenge to build the tallest free-standing paper tower. The student groups had a limited amount of materials and had to collaborate as a team in a limited time. The engineers discussed the importance of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). They shared how they use these skills every day in their positions as engineers. Overall, the students had a great experience and loved having the Lockheed Martin Engineers visit!
