Harwood Junior High's Morning Makerspace hosted their second annual Great Pumpkin Tower Competition. Students engineered structures out of everyday materials to support a pumpkin for the longest amount of time. The tallest structure to do so won its builder a delicious treat of their choosing. The competition was fierce, but our victor was Abel Bencomo with an incredible structure that won in both height and durability. Way to go Blackhawk Makers!
