Eighth grade students at Central Junior High met with their counselors after Thanksgiving break to plan their high school schedules. Counselors, Jennifer Kirk and Carol Powers, provided students and their parents information about graduation requirements as well as course specifications offered at the Buinger Career & Technical Education Academy and also the AP and IB programs. Students who returned their course cards with a parent signature were treated to a visit from the Chick-fil-A cow. Kathie Jackson, marketing director for Chick-fil-A, passed out gift cards and fresh Chick-fil-A chocolate chip cookies to students during lunch. Teachers were also treated to Chick-fil-A gift cards and cookies before they left for the winter break. Central Junior High wishes to thank our campus adopter, Heritage Town Crossing Chick-fil-A, for their ongoing and generous support of our teachers and students. Chick-fil-A and Central Junior High- truly Better Together!
