Staff members can submit a story for the District Spotlight..
The Hurst-Euless-Bedford ISD Board Ambassador Program members graduated April 3. Last year, members of the community signed up to learn more about the school district. After months of attending evening meetings, reading recommended books, taking tours of the District, and other assignments, these learners are now leaders. The graduation included every school board member telling the group why they decided to run for school board, what they have learned about HEB ISD, and why they continue to serve. Three current school board members, Dawn Jordan-Wells, Julie Cole, and Matt Romero, are products of the academy, and they told the graduates how the academy prepared them for board service. After board comments, each graduate received their special award.
