News & Announcements
(update posted at 2:30pm, May 29, 2019) After the initial wave of storms have passed through, all warnings and shelter-in-place instructions have been lifted without incident. We are continuing to monitor weather conditions throughout the district. We will continue with our normal dismissal times and processes at each school only if it is safe to do so.

(posted 1:20pm - May 29, 2019)In an abundance of caution, some HEB ISD schools closest to the projected path of the current severe storm are being instructed to shelter-in-place. This is mostly schools north of highway 121/183. (Additional schools may take shelter if they hear storm sirens or otherwise receive additional information.)
In extreme or risky conditions, such as tornado activity near the school, the principal may temporarily deem it unsafe to remove students from shelter. When this happens, students will be allowed to leave with parents once the danger has passed.
Please be assured that student safety is our number one priority. Our students and staff have practiced safety drills throughout the school year.
