Pre-K registration information is available now on our Pre-Kindergarten website.

Registration for students going into Kindergarten is now open:

New Student Online Registration - For students who were not enrolled in HEB ISD on the last school day of the 2025-2026 school year

Returning Student Registration - Parents of returning students received emails on July 13, 2026 with a instructions and a link to setup their Skyward Family Access Account. If you do not have these emails or have questions, please contact the school your child wishes to attend.

Note: After you've setup your Skyward account, you can go directly to the Skyward log-in page to continue the registration process.

All students in HEB ISD must register each year. 

Note: Transfer requests will be considered after all elementary registration events for 2026-2027 have been held. Kindergarten students who do not yet have an approved transfer should register at their home campus. If a transfer is granted, enrollment files will be moved to the new campus

Documents parents will need to upload as part of NEW Student Registration include:

• Original or certified birth certificate
• Parent/guardian photo ID
• Immunization record
• Valid Proof of Residency
• Previous School Records (final report card)
• Student's Social Security Card (if available)

Note: Please register as early as possible. Once a school reaches class capacity for any grade level, the school will locate a class seat in another school in the district. If required, transportation is provided to the overflow school.

Returning vs. New

• "Returning students" are any students who were enrolled in any HEB ISD school on the last day of the 2025-2026 school year. (This includes incoming 7th graders who attended any HEB ISD elementary school.)
• "New students" are any students not enrolled in an HEB ISD school on the last day of the 2025-2026 school year.

In HEB ISD, high school is grades 10, 11, and 12.
