Register a Kindergarten student (2023-2024)
Information for This School Year (2023-2024)
- Kindergarten Kickoff was held May 1, 2023, 6:30 PM at all HEB ISD Elementary Schools. More information is posted on our Kindergarten Kickoff webpage.
- To register a new Kindergarten student during the 2023-2024 school year, please begin by completing the online form linked below. When the submitted form is processed, the school will contact you to share additional instructions.
Note: Please register as early as possible. Once a school reaches class capacity for any grade level, the school will locate a class seat in another school in the district. If required, transportation is provided to the overflow school.

To register a new student during the 2023-2024 school year, please begin by completing the online form linked below. When the submitted form is processed, the school will contact you to share additional instructions.
Note: Please register as early as possible. Once a school reaches class capacity for any grade level, the school will locate a class seat in another school in the district. If required, transportation is provided to the overflow school.

In HEB ISD, junior high is grades 7, 8, and 9.

New Student Registration Links for Junior High Schools:
Note for returning students: Parents/guardians of returning students will receive an email on July 10, 2023; the email will include a "snap code" and a link to the online registration form for returning students. Please be sure your school has your correct email address.
"Returning" vs. "New"
- "Returning students" are any students who were enrolled in any HEB ISD school on the last day of the 2022-2023 school year. (This includes incoming 7th graders who attended any HEB ISD elementary school.)
- "New students" are any students not enrolled in an HEB ISD school on the last day of the 2022-2023 school year.

Register a High School student (10th-12th grade)
In HEB ISD, high school is grades 10, 11, and 12.

HEB ISD is open to all students who live within district boundaries and who meet state eligibility requirements.
