Register a Kindergarten student (2023-2024)
Information for Next School Year (2023-2024)
- Kindergarten Kickoff was held May 1, 2023, 6:30 PM at all HEB ISD Elementary Schools. More information is posted on our Kindergarten Kickoff webpage.
- Returning Students (students currently enrolled in an HEB ISD Pre-K program): Snap Codes and links to the online registration form were emailed to current pre-k parents on May 2, 2023. For convenience, we are including the link here as well:
- New Kindergarten Students (students who are not currently enrolled in HEB ISD): begin registration with the appropriate online form
Note: Please register as early as possible. Once a school reaches class capacity for any grade level, the school will locate a class seat in another school in the district. If required, transportation is provided to the overflow school.

Register an Elementary student (1st through 6th grade, 2023-2024)
Information for Next School Year (2023-2024)
- Returning Students: Snap Codes and links to the online registration form will be emailed to parents on July 10, 2023.
- New Students: Links for online registration forms will open on July 11, 2023.
- Elementary New Student Registration Day will be July 26, 2023. At least one parent/legal guardian must attend.
- Late Registration – contact your school office to schedule

Register a Junior High student (7th-9th grade)
In HEB ISD, junior high is grades 7, 8, and 9.
If you aren't sure which school your home is zoned for, you can use the HEB ISD School Boundary Locator. There is additional information on our Maps / Attendance Zones website.
Registration instructions for each junior high school:
New students during the school year should contact the school's office for instructions. As part of registration, the student's parent or guardian will need to complete the online registration form linked below, and may need to bring proof of residency to the school.
New Student Registration Links for Junior High Schools:
"Returning" vs. "New"
- "Returning students" are any students who were enrolled in any HEB ISD school on the last day of the 2021-2022 school year. (This includes incoming 7th graders who attended any HEB ISD elementary school.)
- "New students" are any students not enrolled in an HEB ISD school on the last day of the 2021-2022 school year.

Register a High School student (10th-12th grade)
In HEB ISD, high school is grades 10, 11, and 12.

As part of registration, the student's parent or guardian will need to complete the online registration form linked below, and may need to bring proof of residency to the school.

- KEYS High School - 2022-2023 Registration Information
Note for returning students: Parents/guardians of returning students will receive an email on July 11, 2022; the email will include a "snap code" and a link to the online registration form for returning students. Please be sure your school has your correct email address.

HEB ISD is open to all students who live within district boundaries and who meet state eligibility requirements. Parents should register at the neighborhood school serving their residential address.The district also accepts out-of-district transfers through the district's Schools of Choice program; visit our Transfer page for more information.
