Letter from Ann Rodriguez, 2020-2021 Meadow Creek Principal
April 14, 2020
Dear Meadow Creek Families,
Hello! My name is Ann Rodriguez and I’m honored to be the new principal at Meadow Creek Elementary. Some of you may remember me from when I served the school community as assistant principal three years ago. I’m thrilled to return to my HEB ISD home serving in this new role!
Prior to joining the district, I began my teaching career at W.A. Porter Elementary in Hurst, Texas. I taught second and third grade for twelve years then transitioned into the role of assistant principal in the Denton and Hurst-Euless-Bedford Independent School Districts. Currently, I serve as the Quality Learning Coordinator. Some of my coordinator responsibilities include: the management of the Pat May Center and the coordination of district professional development.
In each of these roles, my purpose has been to maximize learner potential through collaboration, continuous classroom improvement, and community engagement. This purpose aligns with Meadow Creek Elementary mission. I’m looking forward to continuing this work with both you and your children!
With our new normal, this transition will look different. We will continue bridging home and school together! Expect to hear more from me as we begin planning the 20-21 school year. Feel free to contact me at AnnRodriguez@hebisd.edu with any questions as we begin partnering in student learning. In the meantime, “Keep Calm and Creek On!”
