Letter from Principal Brading - April 14

April 14, 2020

Dear Parents-

It is with mixed emotions that I announced to you all that I will be leaving Viridian Elementary at the end of this school year. It has been such an honor to spend the last five years of my career as Principal of Viridian Elementary serving the students, parents, and staff. I am truly proud of the many accomplishments, both big and small, that our students and staff have made over the years.

The next chapter in my HEB ISD career is one I’m very excited about. I have accepted the position of Coordinator of Quality Learning for the District starting in the 2020-2021 school year. This will allow me to focus on adult learning which, as many of you know, has always been a career interest for me. In fact, my doctoral work included an emphasis on Adult Learning so this opportunity is a natural progression.

I want to thank the staff for the outstanding job they do in educating your children! You will not find a more devoted or dedicated group than the staff at Viridian Elementary, and they are to be commended for the job they do to help children become all they can be.

Warm Regards,

Dr. Aungelique Brading
