HEB ISD's Safety & Counseling Teams are presenting a Safety and Wellness Night, including presentations about Fentanyl and Mental Health Awareness Month.

Featuring presentations from the Texas National Guard Joint Counterdrug Task Force - Drug Demand Reduction Outreach Program, and HEB ISD's Crisis Intervention & Prevention Team.

Topics include:

• Prevalence and risk of counterfeit pills laced with fentanyl
• Narcan/Naloxone is a temporary life-saving tool with limitations
• Informed decision-making when faced with a fentanyl or substance misuse scenario
• Mental health warning signs
• District resources and support available for mental health
• Increase awareness of mental health by learning coping strategies and tools to support your own mental health and that of your child
