HEB ISD’s processes are aligned with recent guidance from Texas Education Agency (TEA) and Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS). A student’s positive COVID-19 test must be reported to HEB ISD within 24 hours using the online reporting form, available through the above link. The student must stay home until 5 days have passed since the start of symptoms, AND they are fever free for 24 hours without the use of fever reducing medications, AND their symptoms have improved.
